For me, they're something I've known since childhood, from my grandparents' barn next door. There, customs were observed, herbs were burned as incense, and time seemed to move a little slower than usual. It was like a natural connection to nature—which, during this time, also seemed slower and more contemplative.
This time of year is slowly regaining its significance. What was vital for a few generations before us, we often don't even notice anymore. We're in such a hurry that we barely have any connection to the small, natural rhythms that happen around us every day. And unless we happen to own a farm, we no longer have to hope for a good harvest or be humble that we had one this year. After all, we simply buy everything we need – it's all there, right?
This bundle is about reconnecting with natural rhythms. It's my combination of herbs, seasonal rhythms, and the twelve days of Christmas. It's an invitation to you to rediscover and connect with natural rhythms.
